On November 25, 2016, Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Oriental Resources Development Co., Ltd. held a symposium on cooperation in the 600000-ton olefin project in Jishan County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province.

Lian Guangfeng, Secretary of the Jishan County Party Committee, presided over the symposium and said that in the development of cooperation, the two parties will speed up the preliminary planning of the project and the construction of cooperation areas to achieve economic benefits. At the same time, the relevant functional departments should actively connect with the enterprise, solve the relevant formalities involved in the project as soon as possible, and ensure that the project is started and put into production as soon as possible.

It is reported that the project is the second phase investment project of Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yangmei Group, in Jishan New Coal Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park. On September 13, 2016, Jishan County Government and Shanxi Yang Coal Group reached an investment agreement for a project with an annual output of 900000 tons of methanol and 600000 tons of olefins, with a total investment of 7 billion billion yuan.

Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy Co., Ltd. Phase I "Jishan Coke Oven Gas Comprehensive Utilization Production Urea Co-production LNG Transformation and Upgrading Project" is located in Jishan County Xishe New Coal Coking Circular Economy Demonstration Park. The production scale is 240000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia (intermediate product), 400000 tons/year of urea (final product) and 63000 tons/year of LNG.
