Yang Coal to Build 600000 Tons Olefin Project in Yuncheng

On November 25, 2016, Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Oriental Resources Development Co., Ltd. held a symposium on cooperation in the 600000-ton olefin project in Jishan County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. Lian Guangfeng, secretary of the Jishan County Party Committee, presided over the symposium and said that in the development of cooperation, the two parties will speed up the preliminary planning of the project and the construction of cooperation areas to achieve economic benefits. At the same time, the relevant functional departments should actively connect with the enterprise, solve the relevant formalities involved in the project as soon as possible, and ensure that the project is started and put into production as soon as possible. It is reported that the project is a subsidiary of Yangmei Group-Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy.

The 600000-ton olefin project in Tongmei is scheduled to start construction in July next year.

The project with an annual output of 600000 tons of olefins in Tongmei is planned to complete the project process package design, overall design and bidding work of the General Institute before June 30, 2017, and start construction on July 1. At present, the bidding of the general sports institute, the bidding of the sub-sports institute and the equipment institute, the technology introduction, the design of the process package and the ordering of long-term equipment have been carried out. According to reports, starting from November 24, 2016, the general manager of Datong Coal Group Company will be directly in charge of the construction of the 600000-ton/year methanol-to-olefin project and the daily work of the olefin project preparation office. The 600000-ton methanol-to-olefin project will invest 1 billion yuan in 2017, and further research and supporting will be carried out at the same time.
